How to PurchaseA Coon Cat
Our Moosehead Maine Coon kittens and occasionally retired adults are sold as pets to loving homes. We do not sell cats for breeding or with breeding rights. Kittens are sold as family pets only with a purchase agreement. Individual kitten prices are located next to their individual name and description.
If you see a kitten you would like to purchase that is listed as available on our website, please contact us with the request to place a holding fee. A $500 non-refundable holding fee and signed purchase agreement is required to place a kitten on hold for you. Holding fee’s can be made via PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo after we receive the signed purchase agreement from you, we will email you the purchase agreement. Please talk with your family, be sure you are ready to commit to welcoming a Maine Coon Kitten into your life prior to placing the non-refundable holding fee.
Kittens are ready to leave for their forever homes between 10-12 weeks of age. The remainder of the purchase price is due in full prior to pick up or in cash only at time of pick up.
Kittens are to be picked up in person by the buyer within 1 week of when the kitten is ready in Greenville, Maine. We can recommend beautiful accommodations in the area if you require an overnight stay. If you are unable to pick up in person, we can meet you at select airports for a delivery fee. Bangor, Maine ($100) Portland, Maine ($250), or Boston, Massachusetts ($500). We also offer a premium personal nanny service by us and will hand deliver your kitten to any major airport in the United States, prices vary by location. If you prefer to use a third party nanny transport service, you can contact Pet Jet Pals direct, and request transport services out of Bangor, Maine (BGR). The cost is around $550-$650 USD.
We do not keep a waiting list or accept holding fee’s for unborn kittens. We do keep our website up to date so you can find when our next litter is expected and when kittens are available for reservation under the Available Coon Kittens section of this site.
